Overview

The Connectly chat widget allows visitors to contact your business instantly through WhatsApp. There are three installation methods — choose the one that fits your setup.

Option 1: Direct HTML integration

1. Open your website's HTML source through your CMS or direct HTML editor
2. Locate the closing </footer> tag near the end of your page
3. Paste the Connectly widget code above </footer>
4. Save and publish your changes
5. Visit your website to confirm the widget appears and test by sending a message

Option 2: Google Tag Manager

1. Log into Google Tag Manager
2. Create a new tag named "WhatsApp Widget"
3. Select Custom HTML as the tag type
4. Paste the Connectly widget code snippet
5. Add a trigger (e.g., All Pages for site-wide display)
6. Click Save, then Submit
7. Name your version and publish
8. Confirm the widget appears on your website and test message delivery

Option 3: Shopify

1. Go to admin.shopify.com
2. Select Online Store → Themes
3. Click the ellipsis (…) next to your theme and choose Edit Code
4. Open the Sections folder and select footer.liquid
5. Paste the Connectly widget script before the </footer> tag
6. Save and verify the widget displays correctly
